As the World Down Syndrome Day is approaching, on Tuesday March 21st, “Stop Discriminating Down” relaunches its international petition and organizes, the day before, on Monday March 20th, a big international conference at the United Nations in Geneva (registration below). This 2017 edition is going to be celebrated in a worrying international context, due to a new prenatal genetic screening test primarily aimed at Down Syndrome. The insertion of this new test in the prenatal genetic screening system will aggravate the current eugenic excesses.
